Energy Efficient Build – South Kingstown, RI
This ocean view home in South Kingstown, RI was designed for efficiency and durability. The mechanical system centered on Ecoer equipment with a hydronic coil for supplemental heat.
Because the home sits in a flood zone, stainless steel hurricane braces were used to secure the outdoor units. Inside, the design focused on integrating the system seamlessly with the home’s architecture. The main return air for the custom kitchen and great room was hidden in millwork. We coordinated with the architect and builder to create a clean look without sacrificing airflow.
All ducts were flanged and gasketed for an airtight seal. Router kickplates were accommodated in the design, allowing the cabinetry to remain uninterrupted while maintaining system performance.
The result is a highly efficient, resilient system built to match the quality and detail of the home itself.
